Growing up on the eastern most point of the Big Island of Hawai'i I began my food service career as a barista and server at the age of 15. When I turned 18 I followed my heart to the coast of North Carolina, attending Cape Fear Community College in Wilmington, where I obtained an associate degree in Culinary Applied Sciences. The next six years was spent learning and working with a well-known local restaurant group before relocating to Atlanta. Over the last five years I've spent specializing in customized private chef services working with a variety of families here in town. I have had the opportunity to experiment with different international cuisines and dietary restrictions. I love to replicate the flavors of the world with local fresh available ingredients, or to be able to provide nutritious meals to someone navigating a new food narrative.
